Excellent experience! The care and concern is wonderful and caring. This is the third time my dog has been there. All three times were life threatening. Happy to say my dog made it and I am so grateful! They have excellent doctors and surgeons and I recommend them highly.

Our sweet puppy who was a rescue and less than a year old, was severely sick. We rushed him over to Dogwood and from the moment we stepped in, the front desk took his needs serious. They updated us step by step with their recommendations. As they proceeded to update us on his diagnosis, you could tell they cared and loved my pup just as much as I did. While making the tough decision to let our sweet boy cross the rainbow bridge, the nurses and staff cried with us. The whole staff is sent from heaven and made this tough process as easy as it could possibly be.

I really have to commend this hospital! From the doctors, to the techs, to the front desk! Everyone is super friendly and ready to help. My puppy had a distal femur fracture. For two days I was driving and calling around looking for an affordable doctor to do my dogs surgery. I was quoted way too much and I could not afford the treatment. I was being recommended to amputate my dogs leg or euthanized him. 😕 I'd never give up on my pet. Luckily I came across Dogwood! I was given a very decent quote and scheduled my dog for surgery the next day! They did a wonderful job on his leg and his care! I highly recommend them!! HIGHLY! If you're looking for great quality pet care for an affordable price please do yourself a huge favor and check them out! You won't regret it! Thank you Dr. Rudd, Jessica, and front desk staff!! Most amazing place. Very interactive. My puppy had a traumatic experience and they are nursing him back to health. They even send text messages and pictures of your pet as well. I'm so pleased with their care.

The surgical team at Dogwood has literally just saved my dog's life, my beautiful and sweet 4.5 yo Great Dane suffered a colonic torsion and while the medical team wanted to be conservative to save me money they ultimately decided that surgery was necessary and the surgical team was fantastic. Everyone here was amazing, they saved my dog's life even though she had an 80% chance of dying and they were so thorough and organized with updates and photos. They really understand trying to balance what's best for your pet and what is best for your wallet and I definitely got my money's worth since no surgery is going to be cheap and they were still cheaper than other hospitals in my area. I'm so thankful we came here, they run this animal hospital like a real hospital (I would know, I work as an inpatient RN) and I'm very impressed with their skill, compassion and open communication between the staff and "parents", I will absolutely recommend Dogwood to any pet owner with a medical emergency or specialty issue. Had an emergency issue and was told to go to this place from a local vet since it was after hours for the vet by us (Douglasville). The staff were very friendly and quick to get us in a room considering our dog had a good size laceration on her paw. The doctor was quick to see us and get her diagnosed. The procedure was surprisingly quick considering the circumstances. Could not say more nice things about the doctor and the staff here. Worth the 45 minute drive to know our girl would be in good hands!

AMAZING PRACTICE! I brought my dog who had run away and gotten injured here from an hour away and I would do it again! He was not seriously injured but was acting very strange. I got concerned and called his vet and they recommended dogwood 10/10! The prices can be pricey buttttt the cost does not matter when your furry family member is in trouble! I will definitely be back if I need them! 💯👏

Took my dog here yesterday for a dog bite on his ear. I went to two other places before and they couldn’t see him until 2, this was at noon. The second place sent me here. And I’m glad they did. I got a good vibe about this place as soon as I walked in. The staff is so friendly and place seemed so clean compared to most vets.
